Street Da’wah to Non-Muslims
📍 Bringing the Message of Islam to the Heart of the Community
Alhera Da’wah Trust is committed to reviving the Prophetic mission of spreading the message of Islam — not from behind closed doors, but openly, compassionately, and respectfully in public spaces. Our Street Da’wah initiatives bring Islam directly to the people of Aotearoa (New Zealand), with the goal of creating understanding, breaking misconceptions, and inviting hearts to reflect on the truth.
🛣️ What is Street Da’wah?
Street Da’wah is the practice of engaging with the public in open, accessible environments such as city centers, markets, festivals, and university campuses. It involves:
- Setting up information stalls and Da’wah tables
- Offering free Qur’ans, booklets, and Islamic literature
- Having warm, respectful conversations about Islam
- Answering questions and correcting misunderstandings
- Sharing the core message of Tawheed (Oneness of God)
🤝 Our Approach: Wisdom, Compassion, Respect
We follow the Qur’anic command:
“Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best.”
— [Surah An-Nahl 16:125]
Our trained Da’wah volunteers are taught to:
- Listen before speaking
- Avoid debate or aggression
- Speak with gentleness and humility
- Respect other faiths while explaining our own
